Role and Formal Responsibilities:

After eating and drinking heavily through his late teens and twenties and having last run a race at school in 1985, Scott squeezed himself (!) into his new lycra shorts and returned to running infrequently in 1998, struggling his way round the odd 10k. Increasing the regularity of his running and racing throughout 2002 and 2003 (when he completed - just - his first marathon), he joined the club in August 2003 with a view to running with like-minded people of similar ability and to improve his race times. Now a confirmed training and racing addict, he preaches to anyone who'll listen about how hills, wind and rain are all friends of the runner, and serve only to make flat roads, calm air and dry conditions all the better! Scott also fills the position of official club "Statto".
