The 2025 Summer Deaflympics in Tokyo began on Saturday 15th November.
Our Poppy Bowie arrived in Japan safe and sound from her base in Australia, for the opening ceremony where she proudly paraded with Team GB (far right in the above picture).
Then, just to shake off the jetlag, she ran the Urayasushi Sogo Koen Parkrun and finished 1st lady in 19:34!
It’s the marathon on 25th November so some final prep for Poppy over the next week or so!
