Getting Here and Parking
The post code for the Palace of Arts is G52 1EQ. If coming by car the car park for the Palace of Arts is accessible from Paisley Road West (heading west). Other car parks are available within the park at the Glasgow Ski and Snowboard Centre/House for an Art Lover accessible from Dumbreck Road. Further parking within the park is available at Bellahouston Leisure Centre accessible from Bellahouston Drive. On street parking is also available on Paisley Road West and Mosspark Boulevard.
Bellahouston Park is close to the M8. Please use junction 24 (if travelling east), or use M77 junction 1 if coming from the south or west. The nearest subway is Ibrox. Many buses run along Paisley Road West (9A, 39, 53, 53A, 54A and 54B, but please double-check). Trains travel from Central Station to Dumbreck Railway Station, which is a 5-minute walk from the park.
Course
The 10K course is entirely on tarmac paths and pavement within the park and surrounds. As a result of feedback from last years race we have amended the course but we are still starting at the high point of the park and finishing lower. Route maps at the bottom of the page. The course is generally flat with the odd incline, but nothing too troubling! There will be one water station on the course just after 5K, and water will be available at the finish.
