Registration, Changing and Toilet Facilities
Registration and changing are at Glasgow Club Bellahouston (G52 1HH). This is on Bellahouston Drive at the north west corner of Bellahouston Park, Glasgow. Registration opens at 9:30am, and closes at 11:45am. Please check your name on the number boards displayed in the registration hall, and proceed to the queue marked for that number. You will be given a race number to be displayed clearly on your running top (the timing chip is attached to the back of your race number). Allow plenty of time to get to the Glasgow Club and collecting your number as the registration will be very busy. Alternatively, you can beat the queues by collecting your race number in advance from Achilles Heel store in Glasgow between Thursday 5th and Saturday 7th November during store opening hours.
It is a 5 minute walk to the start at the highest point of Bellahouston Park, near the monument.
Toilets are available at the Glasgow Club on Bellahouston Drive.
Lockers are available in the Glasgow Club and there will be a bag drop available near the finish line.
Getting Here and Parking
The post code for Glasgow Club – Bellahouston is G52 1HH. There is plenty of parking available in the various car parks within Bellahouston Park. On street parking is also available in the surrounding streets. If you could avoid parking directly in front of the shops on Mosspark Drive this would be helpful.
Bellahouston Park is close to the M8. Please use junction 24 (if travelling east), M8 junction 23 (if travelling west), or use M77 junction 1 if coming from the south, or if approaching from the M8 Glasgow City Centre. The nearest subway is Ibrox. Trains travel from Central Station to Dumbreck Railway Station, which is a 5-minute walk from the park. Please use Traveline Scotland to determine which is the best public transport option for you.
The 10K course is entirely on tarmac paths and pavement within the park and surrounds. Route maps at the bottom of the page. The course is generally flat with the odd incline, but nothing too troubling! There will be Kilometre markers on the course. There will be one water station on the course just after 5K and water will be available at the finish line.
